Boron determination in waters by fluoroborate ion-selective electrode and ion chromatography
To address the growing need for a simple, routine method of boron determination, this project has evaluated alternative methods of boron analysis. We have focused on the development of procedures for boron monitoring at low concentrations in environmental samples such as waters and soils using ISE and IC methods which proved to have the required detection limits.

Determination of fluoride in waters and minerals
This series of projects has developed robust methods for the determination of fluoride in waters suitable for routine monitoring. Recent work focused on the application of the method to organic-rich waters.
